Dr Arvin Damodaran is a consultant rheumatologist and medical educator based in Randwick, Sydney. He is in private practice at Rheumatology Specialist Care at the Randwick rooms, and has an appointment to the Prince of Wales Hospital (POWH), Randwick, where he provides specialist on-call, inpatient and outpatient services.

In addition to clinical care, Dr Damodaran is an awarded medical educator engaged in delivering the UNSW Medicine program. He is the Director of the Clinical Teaching Unit, POW Clinical School and Convener for Phase 3 of the UNSW Medicine program. As well as medical students, Dr Damodaran is involved in training junior doctors and rheumatology trainees as a clinical supervisor at POWH. He is a senior national examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).

Dr Damodaran graduated from Medicine at UNSW with honours in 1996 before undertaking residency and specialist training at Prince of Wales, Liverpool, Royal Prince Alfred and Concord Hospitals in Sydney. He was awarded his specialist fellowship (FRACP) in 2004. In 2006 Dr Damodaran completed a Masters of Medical Education (MMedEd) with the University of Sydney, and became an Associate Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Association for Health Professional Educators (AFANZAHPE) in 2016.
