Dr Candice Khor completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales with honours and subsequently pursued a Master of Public Health. She completed her training as a nephrologist at various tertiary and regional centres including St George Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, Gosford and Wollongong Hospital. She subsequently undertook a fellowship in acute kidney injury at the Prince of Wales Hospital. Her research interests are in acute kidney injury and renal transplant. She is a conjoint associate lecturer at the University of New South Wales and is passionate about medical student and junior doctor education.
Dr Khor is interested in all areas of renal medicine in particular management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, acute kidney injury, renal supportive care and obstetric medicine. Besides English, Dr Khor can converse in Malay and Indonesian. Dr Khor is keen on building close working relationships with local general practitioners and specialists and is available to take calls at any time.
